Rachel Port 

Port is a multidisciplinary artist and designer with expertise spanning digital design and painting. Her mural art has been featured in The New York Times, a testament to her impactful work. She has excelled in art direction, painting, branding, illustration, marketing, UX/UI, makeup art, and set design. Port has led and directed photo shoots, overseeing content planning, social media strategy, photography, prop styling, hairstyling, modeling, and makeup art. Additionally, she has contributed to festivals and music events, creating digital assets, hand-painting signs, fabricating stages, organizing face-painting stations, and using AI prompting to create unique imagery. Her dynamic skill set showcases her passion for creativity and storytelling across mediums.

Technical skills include: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, After Effects, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Illustration, Typography, Hand-drawn Lettering, UX/UI Design, Sketch, Powerpoint, Keynote, Pattern Design, Event Decor Design and Event Production. 

Port is fascinated by the universe, eyes, surrealist landscapes, iridescence, and color. She’s highly inspired by the works of Alphonse Mucha, Dali, René Magritte, Van Gogh, and Georgia O’Keefe. She enjoys all kinds of creative experiences, and she also loves to travel, eat/cook, dance, sing, and radically express herself.

Port was born in Bronxville, NY, and briefly lived in Shaker Heights, OH, and Louisville, KY, before settling in Longmeadow, MA for her formative years. She attended The Loomis Chaffee School '09 in Windsor, CT, and Skidmore College '13 in Saratoga Springs, NY, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Studio Art. She studied abroad at the Lorenzo de Medici School in Florence, IT. Her senior Psychology thesis focused on The Effects of Color on Human Emotion and Behavior. She’s been living in NYC for almost 12 years, and is located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
